The Book Exchange Club is an initiative to strengthen inter-club links by fostering connections among members in between events. It currently runs two activities that can be joined by all members of the Gold Alliance: the book exchange and the online literary gatherings, both run 3 times per year.
The book exchange aims at connecting members in a one-to-one format, deepening into each other’s reading taste. We encourage participants to converse with their assigned “book friend” before and after the exchange, sharing impressions and expectations about the book, the author, the genre, etc.
The online literary gatherings are infused with an open-to-all, social spirit which creates a thriving environment for fun interaction, informal discussions, and intellectual exchange. We offer the opportunity to explore topics through talks delivered by members themselves, followed by debates, Q&As, and much more!
Today, the Book Exchange Club is constantly growing relationships among members from clubs all across Europe. Although it originated in 2020 as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has now become an enjoyable and stimulating way to keep in touch, while sharing a passion for Literature and books.
